Another torturous waking up session today. Oh what else is new anyway I shall declare today the day which Edwin made me look like a retarded lunatic at the bus stop all the way to hwachong.

After I showered, I took the vacuum cleaner out and threw the sucking head part thingy (ignore all the layman terms (italics) because I really don't have the interest to find out what you call each part of a vacuum cleaner. My brain space is finite and precious.) into a plastic bag then stuffed it in my bag, along with the stretchy malleable long thingy. Then I packed the main body and the metal holder thingy into a Snickers (don't ask me why my house have such things) box and I was all ready to go.

Of course the ruckus woke my mum up and she said, "You're really bringing it to school?" (I told her yesterday.)

"Uh.. what does it look like I'm doing.." I mumbled.

"Remember not to put paint on it or anything," then she went back to sleep as if her son bringing the vacuum cleaner out was the most normal thing on Earth.

The most embarrassing part was probably the period when I had to lug the box (it's not a closed box, so people can see the parts of the V.C. sticking out) down the corridor to the lift, in the lift, the void deck with the roti prata shop, through the long journey weaving between blocks of flats, across the road, on the pavement, at the bus stop, on the bus ride, at the HCI bus stop, up the idiotic long slope, and finally at the band room.

It's all right if there were no one around, but at each and every location some raised eyebrows were around! ahhhhhhhh!

(Edwin calls me at bus stop.)

Me: Hello?
Edwin: Are you coming?
Me: Yes. And I am going to kill you. I look freaking retarded lugging the vacuum cleaner. And now everyone is staring at me.
Edwin: *random laughter and giggles* bye

I was so going to kill him.

Anyway I survived the trip only barely and we started painting again. By lunchtime we were done! As in, we finished painting! So we went for an on-time lunch. After chicken rice we bought cloth and paint and started painting the banner.

Kudos to TZ's design.

Then we started to semen (this is not a spelling error. The gasso really looked like. Y'know.) the design after TZ and I chalked the design down. Edwin had to go at 5 but at the end we dragged till 5.30 until we left TZ to finish the gasso-ing.

When we left the room, Edwin commented, "Omg! It's so nice, the painted band room. Look at the corner! It's so nice..."

I looked. It was nice. And boy, how proud I was.
