Guang Liang, if you happen to read this, please don't be offended.

But it's seriously funny and weird. See, the poor boy didn't accidentally send his messages twice. He retyped them in a subtly different way and sent them.

What's with the near-desperate or desperate need to know other people's numbers anyway? And why Amelia, Rebecca and Qiqi? When we consider the question we will make interesting discoveries.

Being obsessed with numbers is never a good thing. I regrettably direct you to the example of Albert Eistein who went senile instead of being able to spend his old days with his children peacefully and normally. Instead he had to take a picture with his tongue hanging out lethargically and obscenely of his mouth and now his descendants have to bear the brunt of teasing.

Random children: Your grandpa/great-grandpa is crazy crazy crazy!

But if you're talking about phone numbers, it's a different thing. Y'know, I could never memorize phone numbers and if I lose my phone, urgh. No chance of me contacting anyone. During yesterday's bbq the kids girls were chatting.

Girl 1: Blahblahblahblah hahahah!
Other girls: hahahahahaha!
Girl 2: Hey, whose number is 91234567
Girl 1: XXX right.
Girl 3 (interrupts): No, hers is 98765432
Girl 2: I think is YYY lor.
Girl 1: No la! She changed her number. 91112222.

I'm sure if I stuck around long enough they'll eventually recite the whole phonebook. And Mrs. Chen would be saying, so that's how they'll been using your brain space! What about proselytize, impetus and tocsin?

But why on earth do people collect phone numbers anyway? Is a a collector's thing? Like, they hold gatherings every once in a while and carry their log book with all the phone numbers. Then they trade their phone numbers of random persons like his uncle and her mother's friend. Once in a while they'll have an event to auction numbers of people like George Bush and Lee Kuan Yew.

Or maybe poor Guang Liang was trying to ask the girls out. Ooh, scandalous.
